Justa Spark of Midnight - APHA 2012 Smokey Black Tobiano mare, DNA tested 5 Panel NN, this wonderful young mare is homozygous for the tobiano gene as well as  for the black gene and as a bonus she also carries the cream gene! She will be a color producer for sure! She is very agile, quick and catty. She is a very fast learner, easy to handle and breed. She has a very nice refined baby doll head, huge shoulders, very musclular top line with a very nice hip and great legs. She will make an awesome performance prospect as well as a valuable broodmare later. She will make an awesome reiner, cutter, working cowhorse, barrel or roping prospect. Her sire is Citas Flying Spark, our homozygous tovero stallion and her dam is Shots Fly at Midnite, our smokey black tobiano mare. She is Shots Flying Spark, 2x Res World Roping Champion and also has, Leo San Cita, Waggoner and Impressive lines. She was started under saddle, is not what I would call broke to ride, however did attend a colt starting challenge in late 2015. We gave her more time to grow and mature before putting her in our broodband. She is sound in every way, never been sick or injured. This year, 2022, she gave us a stunning buckskin tobiano homozygous colt sired by by Just A Shot Of Sparks, our buckskin tobiano, own son of Shots Flying Spark. Her colt is available for sale, see our foals page for more info on him. Stormy is bred for 2023 to our cremello AQHA stallion, First Gold Express, she can be available for sale at $7500.00 (not with her 2022 colt)

Pictured above at the 2015 Colt Starting Challenge. This challenge only allows the trainer 3.5 hours of training with an totally unstarted horse, that is halter broke only. The challenge really pushes these young foals to learn a lot and under a lot of pressure. Stormy did okay with the challenge, but this in no way means she is a totally broke to ride horse.  She will need to be restarted under saddle.
