Bonnet is one of our best paint mares, born and raised here, she is 15.2 hands, about 1200 lbs in pasture shape, is a very easy keeper, has a wonderful temperament and has a near perfect confirmation. Bonnet is HYPP N/N, has a huge hip with heavy gaskins, a big deep V chest, a naturally nice long thin neck, great forearms and great legs with a very nice head to match her flashy coloring. She is a total package as she also has a championship pedigree that will not quit. She is an own daughter of World Champion Impressive Return, by World Champion, Mr Impressit, who is by Multiple World Champion and Champion producer, Mr Impressive. Her dam is a own daughter of World Champion, Obsess Sonny Dee by none other than Obsesed To Impress. Bonnet's show career was cut short by EPM, as most of you know it is a debliitating and deadly disease that most horses never recover from, it is also very hard and expensive to treat. Most horse owner's opt to euthanize thier horses that are hit hard with this disease, however.Bonnet showed me not only a strong will to fight it, but a strong will to live, so we opted to treat her against our vet's recommendations. Not only did she recover, she in the process delivered us a goregous colt the following year. Our vet apologized and told me that he has never seen a horse afflicted so badly live and admitted he was amazed at her and my will to get through her ordeal. . While she will never be shown, she does give us lots of love and the nicest babies! Bonnet is not for sale at any price. We will be breeding her to Citas Flying Spark for a 2010 foal.
